What a pleasure it is to sip an aromatic tea with calming effects and knowing you’re spoiling yourself with a healthy habit. Hempika hemp tea is hand-picked and naturally dried to preserve its natural aroma and taste. It contains carefully selected hemp flowers and leaves of the highest quality.

Wondering what even hemp tea is? Hemp tea comes from the dry leaves and flowers of the hemp plant. The tea has a dark green color and a gentle herbal aroma. It contains naturally occurring vitamins, minerals, chlorophyll, cannabinoids, terpenes, and flavonoids. It is known for its potential calming effects on the body and mind. But do not worry – hemp only contains < 0.2% or less of THC. These amounts are way too low to get you high, and the tea is safe to use without any adverse side effects.

Grandmothers used to know the secrets of herbs and had the right spice for every occasion. Imagine a late autumn chilly evening at your grandma’s place, where you receive the coziest treatment. On those long evenings when you could use a bit of calmness and coziness, a cup of warm hemp tea might just be one of your grandmother’s secrets. Since hemp tea is naturally caffeine-free, it is the right pick before slipping into your pajamas.

Let the stress of the day become history, and help your mind & spirit relax with a cup full of cannabidiols like CBD. We bet your dreams will be sweeter and your evenings cozier.

How & when to prepare it?

We would suggest you treat yourself with hemp tea in the parts of the day when you need some relaxation and are craving centeredness. Afternoons and evenings might be the right time for your new hemp ritual.

Basic recipe:

Add five teaspoons of hemp tea to 1 liter of hot water (80–90°C), wait 5–7 minutes, then strain. To experience the full potential of cannabinoids, add a dash of vegetable fat, milk, or butter to the hot water before you add hemp tea to the mix. Hemp tea can be consumed on its own, with other herbs, or as a substitute for teas containing theine.

Vitamin shot of calmness:

Ready to make an infusion of calmness, anti-inflammation, and vitamins? Here it is! Boil 1 liter of water (80–90°C) and first add a dash of cold-pressed coconut oil. Continue with mixing the rest of ingredients to the brew: five teaspoons of hemp tea, a teaspoon of freshly grated ginger, a quarter of a teaspoon of dry cinnamon, and cover the pot. After 7 minutes, your tea is ready to strain. Add a teaspoon of honey, and freshly squeezed lemon juice. Yummy!

Ice-tea:

Hemp tea can as well be enjoyed cold! Its taste is slightly bitter when it cools down, so you might want to add honey or agave. Yet you can get creative and prepare a cold brew version! You’re gonna need: a french press; Hempika hemp tea; lemongrass; lime; and a sweetener of your choice. Put five teaspoons of hemp tea and two teaspoons of dry lemongrass into a french press (volume: 1 liter). Put it in the refrigerator for 8 – 12 hours. When the brewing process is over, strain the tea and serve it with freshly squeezed lime and a tablespoon of honey. What a refreshing summerish drink that is!

How does it taste like?

Hemp tea has a greenish-brown color and a slightly bitter flavor. Some people describe its taste as “earthy” or “greeny.” The best way to find out how it tastes is to give it a try!
